Welcome to Runa Yoga + Sutra Seekers 200 Hr Teacher Training.

Dive deeper into the practice of yoga. Through the lens of curiosity and self inquiry explore the techniques and philosophies of yoga, thus embarking on a life changing journey of an ancient practice in a modern way.  Empower your own personal practice through asana, alignment, functional anatomy, sutra study, group discussion and much more! Develop tools to live with awareness, encouraging freedom from  habitual patterns, transforming your body and your mind.

BRITTANY BELISLE

SUTRA SEEKERS

Brittany was introduced to yoga as a competitive and wild teen in 1999. The choice buy a one way ticket to India and take a 200 hour teacher training altered her entire life path.

Brittany loves the peace yoga brings to her head and heart! The poses bring strength and intelligence to her body; the breath brings clarity and freedom to her mind.

Brittany is forever a student as yoga continually supports me in finding equanimity and an elevated perspective in all life experiences. As a mama of two little girls, she feels endlessly blessed to experience motherhood grounded and grateful in every moment.

MICHELLE CARTIER

RUNA YOGA

Co-owner of Runa Yoga Michelle Cartier has been practicing yoga for approximately 12 years.  She is a certified instructor as an E-RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance and a graduate of The Yoga Center of Minneapolis. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis on Cardiac Rehabilitation from The College of Saint Scholastica. Cartier has also worked in the healthcare system of cardiology at Essentia Health. In addition to her work in the healthcare system, Michelle has also been a passionate supporter of the local farming community and sustainably produced food systems. It is her strong belief that optimal health and wellness is achieved when the mind and body are both treated and supported as one.  She feels grateful to be a lifelong student of the practice of yoga and for the opportunity to share that passion with others.

JESSIE ERICKSON

RUNA YOGA

Co-owner of Runa Yoga Jessie Erickson has over 10 years experience as a yoga practitioner and over 8 years experience as a yoga/fitness instructor. She holds an E-200 RYT hours Training Certificate from Yoga Alliance and has over 2500 hours of teaching experience. 

 

Erickson has a unique and engaging approach to teaching; she brings kindness and nurture to her classroom, which creates an environment that fosters growth through curiosity. Erickson believes that we can make the world a better place by first making our lives better.

When she is not teaching, you can find Jessie either skiing or hiking with her family. Enjoying the laughter and joy that life brings.
